Description: Visual discrimination of letters of the alphabet is often something our adult ESL students need to practice if their own language/s use a different script, such as Korean, Arabic, Japanese, Hebrew, Chinese, etc. Most letter discrimination resources are created for children, and while the skill is something our adult students need, they don't want or need the cute factor that these resources often use to engage children. Our adult students, naturally, don't want to use the same resources that their children (or grandchildren) use, but are often left with nothing else or nothing much else as possibilities. In this deck, students will listen to know which letters they must find. For each card, they will look for the uppercase and lowercase of one letter. They tap (or click) to select each letter before moving on to the next card. Each card has 10 lowercase and 10 uppercase target letters and 50 other letters. There is no typing involved. I did not use the capital "I" on the Ll card. I did not use the lowercase "l" on the Ii card. This is because with this font (and SO many others), the capital "I" and the lower "l" look the same. The font is SpartanMB light. This free font is very similar to Century Gothic. Where possible, I chose other letters that were visually similar to the target letters and sometimes threw in some that didn't look at all similar.
