Description
In this no prep/no paper unlock the box (escape room style) task card set students are asked to help free the Ice Princess who has been locked up by the Yeti monster. Students must listen to the sound patterns containing at least one half note (four tambourine beats happen at the beginning before the pattern so students can feel the tempo of the beat first) in order to crack the code for each lock. In level one students need to fill in" one missing beat for each pattern. Please Note: At least two empty circles appear in each pattern due to students identifying and recognizing that a half note gets two beats and therefore will last during two beats in a measure.
