Description: This interactive no-prep activity is an engaging way to help your students build a variety of receptive and expressive language skills. Students are able to learn the phrase "lets go" paired with community buildings. This helps gestalt language processors expand their phrases. This interactive activity is extremely motivating and engaging with community buildings and different people driving cars! This activity contains the following: - Visual sentence strips to help students increase MLU - 22 different community building (e.g. school, library, grocery store, post office, hospital, diner, barber shop, hair salon, restaurant, candy store, ice cream shop, pharmacy, donut shop, pet shop, coffee shop, bank, movie theatre, gas station, airport, hotel, church, police station, school, garage, fire station) Some IEP goals that can be targeted during this activity: - Expanding Utterances and Increasing MLU - Where Questions - Vocabulary (labeling community buildings) - Other WH Question ideas (e.g. why do you go to the hospital, what do you buy at the grocery store, what do you fly in at the airport, where do you go send a letter, etc.)
