Description: These are included in a money saving Bundle under the "Bundles" tab in my store. These 18 task cards are structured to teach students to identify the letter sounds: E, T, R (short e). The cards use a field of 3 to guide students into identifying each sound from two distracter sounds. This concept is based on the Discrete Trial Teaching format (although not technically DTT). These cards are great for students who need foundational skills and thrive on direct instruction (which is why only 3 letters are taught at a time. My suggestion is once students master this set, then present the next set of letters). *Letter grouping is based on most commonly used letters versus alphabetical order. There are a total of 18 cards (3 teaching cards and then 15 "work" cards). See the preview for an example. *CARDS ARE AUTOMATICALLY READ ALOUD
