Description: This spelling deck provides three fun spelling activities all in one deck! It is designed in theme to go with Lesson 8 of Journeys (A Musical Day) spelling for first grade, but could be used by anyone who is practicing words using short vowel o. The words included are: on, got, fox, pop, not, hop, block, clock. Students can choose from the musician menu or be assigned any of the activities. 1)Treetop Spelling- The same concept as "pyramid spelling" but with a fun new twist. Students start at the top with one letter and "grow" the word by one letter on each new row until the word is completely spelled.
