This deck works well after reading the picture story National Geographic Kids Look & Learn: Patterns, or as a stand-alone measure to assess students' baseline knowledge of common patterns & reinforcement activity. The patterns introduced include polka dots, stripes, and plaid. This is a receptive task where students are prompted to select the matching picture/pattern, from 3-4 choices, based on a verbal prompt.
