Description: This activity will teach students about the different routines, procedures, and rules that they are likely going to have to follow when returning to school following COVID-19 school closures. In addition to learning the new rules and procedures, students are presented with a variety of real-life scenarios where they will get to practice: -Demonstrating their understanding of the rules and procedures -Identifying whether students in the scenarios are following the rules and procedures correctly -Identifying safe and unsafe actions and activities -Identifying what to do if they forget a rule -Demonstrating an understanding of the outcomes/consequences of following/not following the rules and procedures correctly. Included in this product are scenarios that focus on the following rules, procedures and routines: -Face masks and face -Social distancing -Sharing supplies -Touching others -Touching my face -Coughing and sneezing -Having my temperature taken at school -Washing and sanitizing my hands -Drinking fountains -When I feel sick -Hybrid learning -Recess -What to do if you accidentally forget a rule/procedure -How to be flexible if there is a rule change or sudden change in the school’s schedule
