Includes 10 minimal pairs across 20 cards On each card, a student clicks the speaker icon. The flamingo speaks a target word and the student clicks the corresponding picture (e.g., “lava” vs. “clava”). NOTE: consider your caseload! While both native Spanish-speaking and native English-speaking students can exhibit cluster reduction, they typically do so in different ways.*  Native Spanish-speaking students generally omit the FIRST consonant of a cluster (e.g., saying “lava” for “clava”).
