Description
Students are presented with train and animated everyday verb images (GIFs). Students are asked "What is he/she doing" and given 3 blank spaces to fill in the sentence. Students are asked to identify the subject (e.g. he/she), verb (e.g. eating/reading) and object (e.g. book, cereal). Students are asked to drag and drop each part of the sentence into the blank spaces on the train. This activity targets the following sentence structure: - Subject + Verb + Object The following Everyday Verbs are in this activity: - Eating - Drinking - Cooking - Brushing Teeth - Brushing Hair - Reading - Waking up - Sleeping - Washing Face - Getting Dressed - Showering - Waiting at the bus stop - Working Some of the following IEP goals can be targeted during the activity:- - Identifying and labeling Pronouns - Identifying and labeling Verbs - Expanding Utterances and Increasing MLU - Present Progressive Verbs - WH Questions
