For this life skills based lesson students are first presented with the meaning/definition of a household tool Students are then asked to identify the image of the same tool. Students are provided an array of three response options. This lesson is part of a series that allow for stimulus generalization by presenting the content in multiple forms. Students will learn to identify the tools by name, meaning, image, non identical image, and more! Students will gain an understanding of characteristics and purpose of tools with this lesson. Being able to identify and understand the use of tools is important as tools are utilized consistently in daily living to complete varying tasks.
