Description: Use these interactive Boom Cards to target formulating noun+verb phrases. Use real photos (and some "real" photos) and simple, familiar vocabulary to get your students combining nouns and verbs to formulate new phrases/sentences. Most students who struggle to formulate novel utterances also have difficulty identifying people (e.g. as "girl" or "man") so conventional verb cards leave therapy at a standstill. However, most students are very familiar with animal names! Expand your students' MLU in a fun and functional way using these adorable and silly photos in a fun interactive book. *The deck contains 30 self-checking task cards. Each task card has visuals for each part of speech (i.e. 12 animal visual symbols and 8 -ing verb visual symbols) as well as color-coded visuals on which to place interactive pieces.
