Description: A fun Valentine coding activity for kindergarten. Introduce computer science to your youngest students this February. This deck has 40 beginning coding slides. Teaching your young learners to code is easier than you think. Using moveable pieces and self-checking buttons help build a computer science foundation. These slides are designed to start with simple codes and then they gradually move to more difficult codes. This builds confidence and understanding. Slides 1-17 your students will use arrows to write an algorithm that will correctly reach a target. Slides 18-30 Your students will use color-coded circles to follow an algorithm to reach a target. Slides 31-40 Your students will read an algorithm to determine where they will "land". Tips for using this deck: Project the slides to a large group on a whiteboard. Model each slide with your students. Next, send your students to their devices to use the deck independently.
