Description: The fill-in-the-blank monster activity asks students to type in the correctly rounded number into the monster's mouth. Instructions are bolded and colour coded to emphasize if they are rounding to the nearest 10 or 100. It includes 20 cards in total: 10 cards on rounding to the nearest 10 and, 10 cards on rounding to the nearest 100. Use it as a whole class game by having students tell you where to click (you can tell them to signal 1, 2, 3, 4 with their fingers to correspond to the correct answer), assign it for students to do independently, or work with small groups and use it as a fun skip counting assessment.
