Students are presented with animals and objects from the book Bear Wants More. Students are able to answer WH questions, build requesting skills, increase vocabulary and MLU! The activity contains the following - Visual sentence strips to increase MLU - Vocabulary from the book Bear Wants More (e.g. bear, nose, grass, strawberry, rabbit, clover, badger, pond, fish, raven, wren, teapot, mole, fire, cave, presents) - Multiple opportunities to build the core word WANT Some of the following IEP goals can be targeted during this activity: - WH Questions - Core Word LIKE - Pragmatic skills (e.g. requesting skills) - Expanding Utterances and Increasing MLU - Labeling common animals & nouns
