Description: Holidays Around the World Reading Comprehension - Boom Cards Your little learners are sure to enjoy this holidays around the world reading comprehension deck. This deck is longer and contains 86 cards. This deck is not randomized because the cards must be in order for students to read and answer the comprehension questions that go along with each country. This deck is self checking, but students will need an adult to read this to them. Therefore, this is particularly useful for whole class instruction, small group. or one on one with the teacher. Once students are already familiar with this deck, they could go through it independently since it does support students with pictures. This deck focuses on the social studies skills of learning about the holidays and traditions of other countries including Israel, India, Sweden, China, Africa, and America. Students will read or have someone read this to them and answer comprehension questions using the computer skills of drag and drop or click the correct answer. Students will complete both a simplified KWL chart and Venn Diagram. Verbal praise audio is included at the end of each country's section to provide positive feedback for the students. Students simply click on the speaker icon located on those slides to hear the verbal praise. The last slide will automatically congratulate students on a job well done.
