Z Sound This "Z" Sound Carryover activity uses high frequency words to help students generalize "Z" words using sentences they create themselves. Involving students in creating their own practice sentences makes practicing their speech sounds more meaningful and more engaging! Each card has a carrier phrase for a student to complete "Z" sound sentences eight different ways using "fill in the blanks". Visual support is provided with a "Z" word image. Once a student has created eight unique sentences with the Z word, elicit each sentence out loud. 4 initial Z words 4 medial Z words 4 final Z words
