Earth Day Actions 2. Recycling 1 3. Recycling 2 4. Earth Silly Faces 5. Miscellaneous All cards include earth themed NUMBERED tiles covering the images. This makes it easy to share your screen/display game board on front board -- and have students call out numbers for you to move. Each card is set-up for 2 players/teams (but you could easily inclde more and keep track of score on a separate sheet). Each card includes 8 matches (16 cards). Students take turns dragging themed numbered images out of hte way to reveal winter pictures. Find a match? -- place the numbered tiles to the side and add the matched pictures to your square. Optional: take another turn. Not a match? -- replace the numbered tiles and the other players takes a turn Extension ideas: 1. Writing -- have students write a sentence to describe each match 2. Receptive Language -- have students follow directions to choose numbered tiles or point to a given number/vocabulary image 3. Expressive language -- target 'turn taking' language, have students call out the numbers, label items, describe items, etc. 4. Number ID -- encourage labeling and identification of numbers
