Trig Ratios - Drag, Drop and Solve Word Problems

Description: Each card gives the students a word problem using angles of elevation and depression. The students will drag and drop the information from the problem onto a right triangle and decide whether each side is the adjacent side, opposite side, or hypotenuse by dragging and dropping A, O, and H. The students will then decide whether to use sine, cosine or tangent and again drag the information from the problem into the equation. Once the equation is set up, students are asked to solve for x and decide what unit of measurement their answer should have.
