Description: Students will practice physical science and categorizing skills with this real picture task. Each card has a real picture of an object that provides light or sound. Students will be prompted to determine if the object would provide "light" or "sound." Students will select their response from a field of 2. This activity uses real pictures to keep it age-appropriate for older learners while providing basic skills practice for diverse learning needs. This deck contains 22 cards. I created this task as a supplemental activity for my students; it pairs with the ULS March 2023 unit "Making Waves: Light and Sound" (Unit 27).
