Description: Students are presented with the Students are first asked to identify a specific color in a field of 3. For example, touch red. After, students are asked to describe the item. For example "lets describe the apple." Students are given a visual sentence starter (e.g. the ____ is ____). Students are given 2 visual choices of nouns and 2 visual choices of colors (e.g. red/yellow) to fill in the sentence starter. This helps students form sentences such as "the apple is red." This helps students receptively and expressively build their knowledge of attributes while expanding their utterances!
