Description: This spring garden articulation deck (Build and Explore a Garden) covers /s/ articulation across word positions. There are 9 words per sound position. Students will construct a spring garden by clicking/dragging elements on each page . As students manipulate the picture scene elements, they will practice their /s/ sound by labeling the target images depicted on each slide. Once the garden scene is completed, students will use the map to navigate their spring garden. There are 9 scenes designated for articulation activities. These can be found on page 1 of the map. In each of these scenes, students will search for hidden target articulation (/s/) images that will be dragged to a specific location on the slide. There are 3 scenes designated for open ended play. These can be found on page 2 of the map. Drag each of the items in the left column onto the background to create a scene. The spring garden scenes included are: Trellis Garden, Shrub Garden, Farmer's Garden, Daisy Garden, Vegetable Garden, Cherry Blossom Garden, Tulip Garden, Pond Garden, and Backyard Garden. The open-ended scenes included are: Fairy Garden, Gnome Garden, and Bug Garden. A vocabulary board is included in this product to help familiarize students with gardening concepts.
