Description: In this Chemistry Boom deck students use factors given to complete the equation they would use to convert between units (cancelling units in the numerator and denominator). Students convert between moles, liters, atoms, molecules and grams in this activity by dragging factors in to place in order to cancel the appropriate units. They do not need to perform the actual calculation but instead learn how to set up equations to cancel units using the factor label method (unit conversion method). Each student receives 20 practice problems in random order (there are 25 problems available). Use Boom cards for homework, classwork, distance learning, homeschool and more!
