Description: This deck of Boom™ Cards reinforces time signatures and rhythmic patterns, helping students to recall important skills such as identifying time values and time signatures, as well as counting. There are a total of 30 cards covering time signatures 2/4, 3/4 and 4/4 (10 different cards for each time signature). The time values in this deck include: semiquavers, quavers, crotchets, minims, dotted minims, semibreves, dotted quavers and dotted crotchets. Each play comprises 10 randomised cards. Students are encouraged to clap the rhythmic pattern on each card before tapping the basket of oranges with the time signature that correctly represents the rhythmic pattern. In line with the Lunar New Year, this interactive deck features mandarin oranges that are used to greet friends and relatives a Happy New Year!
