Description: This interactive no-prep activity helps students sort, identify, practice and learn subjective pronouns (he vs. she) with animated sports verbs (GIFS). This activity is extremely motivating and engaging as it contains a variety of animated sports verbs (GIFS). The following 4 tasks are included in this activity: 1- Boy/Girl Sorting- Students are presented with 4 different animated verbs (GIFS) and are asked to sort the verbs into the categories boy vs. girl to help students learn the concepts of boys vs. girls. 2- Students are presented with 4 different animated verbs (GIFS) and are asked to sort the verbs into the categories he vs. she to help students learn the pronouns of he vs. she. 3- Students are presented with 2 verb images of girls and boys performing the same verb. Students are asked to point to the girl or boy. For example, the girl is running or the boy is eating. 4- Students are presented with 2 verb images of girls and boys performing the same verb. Students are presented with sentences such as "she is playing baseball" or "he is playing soccer" to help students identify the correct pronoun. The following IEP goals can be targeted during this activity: - Identifying Pronouns - Labeling Verbs (e.g. asking students what is he/she doing) - WH questions (e.g. asking students what is he throwing, what is she using to hit the ball, what do you do in soccer, etc.)
