Description: This activity develops alphabet knowledge and phonemic awareness. Students will practice sound-symbol awareness and isolating the initial sound. This focuses on the letter Z. Students will click on the picture to hear the word. Then they will decide if the word begins with the letter Z. If it does, they will click the thumbs up button. If not, they will click the thumbs down button. If they forget the sound that the letter Z makes, they can click the letter to hear to the sound.
