Description
Explicit instruction in the parts of speech and syntax is an essential element of language intervention for children who use AAC. This deck focuses on teaching pronouns or "people words," verbs or "action words," and subject + action phrases. Your students can practice using their AAC devices to say two word phrases using pronouns and verbs. This resource uses Pixon symbols and follows the color coding system found in the Unity language system. Unity symbols are provided on the left-hand side. An additional color-coded visual support is at the bottom. Students can drag and drop symbols to form two word phrases.
