Description: Phonological Awareness is the foundation for Reading and Writing success. Students who have phonological awareness know that language is made up of words, rhymes, syllables, and sounds. In this game students drag the long vowel word that does not rhyme to the trash can. They can use the audio buttons to listen to the words. The purpose of this game is for students to find the word that doesn't belong in a set of rhyming words. This game is also part of a growing bundle of phonological awareness activities.
