Clicking the arrow -> button on the final target word card will bring you to the reinforcement page with 24 activity options including themes: Dinosaurs, Vehicles, Pets, Farm, Zoo, Pizza, Monster, Turkey, Scarecrow, Snowman, Winter, Gingerbread, Cupcakes, Valentines, St. Patrick's Day, Sandwich, Taco, Burger, Fishbowl, Spring, Park, Camping, Pool, Beach I created the /m, n/ visuals to help my students who struggle with producing final sounds in words. The specially designed visuals help students cue themselves, rather than relying on support for me. When they begin to rely less on SLP support, they can begin to make more progress towards accurate independent productions. There are 17 /m/ and 25 /n/ cards. *The m visual was created to represent the “vibration” felt on the sides of the nose that the /m/ makes. I point my lips and draw a ”squiggly line” in the air as a visual cue for keeping the lips closed. *The N visual was created to represent the “vibration” on the side of the nose that the /n/ makes. I point or touch the side of my nose as a visual cue and ask students to do the same on their own nose as a tactile cue.
