Description: A race for the ages! Choose between Larry, Lauren, and an "unlockable" character to engage your students in a randomized race that they'll enjoy playing over and over. Nearly every turn provides opportunities to practice the targeted the "ch" phoneme in multiple positions of words, phrases, sentences, and in naming tasks designed to add more language-based opportunities. *Please read the following notes before purchasing: -This is a two player game. -The pages following the "Practice" page are completely randomized, allowing your students to get different cards each time they play. Simply refresh your browser, and you'll get a completely different race. -The "unlockable" character can be "unlocked" at your discretion. I have used this as a motivational tool in the past, and found it to be incentivizing for students. To "unlock", simply drag the image of the lock over the image of Larry, and it will disappear. -This is a standalone game, and not part of the Desert Rescue series of Boom books.
