Description: A seasonal Fall colorful semantics interactive activity! Search the park by moving leaves and autumnal items to find 10 acorns. Each acorn links to a colorful semantics sentence task with coordinating and subordinating CONJUNCTIONS. This game supports students with MULTIPLE TARGETS. These include: - Sentence construction - Expressive/receptive language skills - Identifying parts of a sentence - Vocabulary including nouns verbs and adjectives - Prepositional language - Use of conjunctions - Sentence construction using colorful semantics - Problem solving - Grammar and syntax Colorful Semantics is a teaching strategy that uses color-coded cue cards to ‘show’ how a sentence is made up. Each colour card represents a word or part of the sentence.
