Description: Social emotional learning deck teaching how to choose a friend, designed for middle high school students. Unique format allows students to both choose "good" and "bad" outcomes and then build their own outcome to the SEL friendship story. Students see how each friend going to the game with Dustin plays out. Includes: Student self-rating, Knowledge check, Social narrative: we make choices about how we act and reacting to situations, SEL story: Dustin is looking for a friend. Students see two different outcomes when he invites 2 different peers to a game. Students then choose to explore and analyze each peer according to desirable and undesirable friendship traits. Students answer questions to analyze each outcome, Last, students can build their own outcomes to the same scenario, End of lesson review, How was your effort?
