Description: This is the 2nd guessing game based on Feature, Function and Class. The student is shown a background scene with a large mystery present. There are 3 clues provided which can be revealed one by one. These are feature, function and class clues. The student can move and read each clue individually and try to guess what is in the mystery present. After all three clues have been read, the student can move aside the present and see if they were right. They can also move the present slowly to reveal a portion of the picture to make an inference about what the entire object will be. The clipart and backgrounds as well as the guessing game make this a fun, motivating activity. Learning about Feature, Function and Class helps students understand and describe objects beyond just their labels and promotes conversation. Have fun!
