Description: This deck of 32 cards gives students further practice not just correcting, but recognizing a run-on sentence and in their writing. Run-on sentences “occur when two or more independent clauses (also known as complete sentences) are connected improperly.” This deck asks students to isolate complete sentences by asking themselves where the first sentence should end and inserting a comma and basic conjunction so as to join these two clauses. The deck is geared toward students with moderate to severe autism, specific learning disability, and multiple disabled; it will meet them at their functional levels of learning. Each card is equipped with audio instruction which lends further support to students' learning.
