Description: Students drag the letter to the images to create the sight word. Students must use their knowledge of initial sounds in order to crack the code. images used vary from slide to slide. This means that students do not become complacent about a certain letter sound. "A" might be apple, alligator, apron, airplane, etc... Efforts are made to avoid confusing word sounds, so for example, while "Eye" is technically an "E" it has the "I" sound. Students should focus on initial sounds for this activity.
