Description: In this fun, spring themed activity, students will use context clues to determine the meaning of vocabulary associated with spring/easter. Often, context clues may be in the form of synonyms or antonyms. After a brief introduction, students will be asked to read a short passage embedded with a targeted vocabulary word. Next, they will determine the meaning of the targeted word by using context clues (there are three choices provided). Finally, they will determine if the clue was a synonym or an antonym. **BONUS** At the end of the activity there is a word search game using targeted vocabulary words from the activity!
