Description: These Boom Cards™ will give your students practice with three sight words (a, to, in) in this 14 card deck. This deck focuses on three sight words with five different activities per sight word (four activities for a- no unscramble activity for a) totaling 14 cards. This deck is filled with audio so that the words and sentences are read aloud to the students to help students learn the words through repetition. Students click on the speaker icon to have the directions, words and sentences read aloud. The five activities include build the word (drag/drop letters), find the word (click correct word), type the word (sight words are used in context-students type the missing sight words into the sentences), find and drag sight word to designated space, and unscramble the sight words. When all answers are completed/chosen on each card, students click "submit" to advance to the next card. If any answers are not correct, correct answers remain in place and wrong answers are removed. Then, students must keep trying until the correct answers are chosen. For "find the word" cards, if a wrong answer is chosen, it is marked red for students to see the error and then students click submit to continue to the next card. There are 14 cards in this deck of self-checking cards. This deck of cards is great for center time, early finishers, homework, distance learning, and so much more! My plan is to create decks for "the first hundred" sight words using three words in each deck.
