Description: This book companion activity accompanies the book "No, Silly-Willy" ©2018, (Book not Included). An eBOOK/Audio version of the book is available in my BOOM store. Books also available at: Lulu.com, Amazon, &/or BarnesandNoble.com. What students will see, hear, & do: Students will see per card, a background scene from the book, hear an audio directive, & see written text of each directive, each containing 1-2 spatial/where concepts. They then have to drag and drop the pictured story characters and/or objects, to the correct place contained in the directives. The audio can be muted at SLP/Teacher discretion. Skills Targeted: a) Auditory comprehension b) Understanding of spatial concepts c) Following directives containing 1-2 where/spatial concepts Although the primary focus of this deck is for students to develop auditory comprehension and understanding of spatial concepts, by following spoken directives containing 1-2 spatial concepts, at discretion of SLP/Teacher, other goals per card could be developed or modeled, based upon the stimuli presented, per card including: a) Asking "WHERE" questions, after student completes a directive i.e. "Where is the cat?" b) Receptive identification and/or and expressive labeling of vocabulary CATEGORYi.e. find the animal OR What is it? c) Answering WHO questions i.e. "Who is in the boat?" d) Answering WH questions related to CATEGORY i.e. What is a/an _____?" Child labels the category.
