Description: Early Intervention Myofunctional Therapy BOOM Cards that reinforce lip competency! These four activity cards can be used as visual prompts and rewards to encourage lip rounding, lip retraction, lip closure, and lip range of motion. These recommended exercises are part of the Mini Myo Early Intervention Program, which was developed to use with children in the early intervention population (ages 2-5) who may be at risk of developing an Orofacial Myofunctional Disorder. Using these colorful and fun BOOM cards during both virtual and in-person therapy sessions can help to encourage and reinforce the target skills you are working on! These activities should not replace skilled therapy with a trained professional. It is recommended that the professional identify the exercises and the practice frequency that are appropriate for the client's specific goals and create an individualized treatment plan.
