This is a 37-card scavenger hunt that will teach your students interesting facts about amphibians. While completing the hunt, students will learn the 3 groups of amphibians, what the difference is between amphibians and reptiles, why frogs croak, how amphibians survive when it is cold, and more. To complete the hunt students answer 18 multiple-choice questions. First, they read the question and its possible answers. Then they read a passage that will give them the answer. If they choose the correct answer, they are directed to the next question. If their answer is incorrect, they can reread the text to find the correct answer. They receive instant feedback on whether or not they chose the correct answer. The final card in the deck challenges students to write 3 interesting things they learned about amphibians. The hunt can be used to supplement a study of amphibians, to practice for reading informational text, or as an easy activity for a sub.
