Description: A fun and engaging activity to review or assess your students about the nervous system. OBJECTIVES • Identify the primary components of the nervous system and describe their respective functions. • Explain the pathway of messages to and from the nervous system, including sensory input and motor output. • Recognize common ailments and disorders associated with the nervous system. • Identify and understand strategies for caring for the nervous system and promoting its well-being. You can use this deck of Boom Cards as: - Review Game - Assessment or Quiz - Bell-Ringer Activity - Back to School or End of the Year Activity - Centers An editable scoreboard is included for you to add team names and edit team scores. HOW TO PLAY • Group students into teams. • Provide each team with letter hold-up cards (Letters A, B, C, D) or a mini-whiteboard or an LCD writing tablet • Every category has five (5) different questions. • Each team take turns in choosing a question to answer. • When a team answers a question correctly, they receive a cookie point. • The team that accumulates the highest number of cookie points wins the game. • Write the team names and keep track of the team's scores using the editable scoreboard provided.
