Description: These boom cards are designed to be 45 St. Patrick's Day themed coded cards to help students learn, identify, and practice prime numbers using the factorization methods (divide and factor tree). This deck is perfectly designed to be used during math rotations, daily 4, daily 5, or online for homework (ipad or laptop). Students work through the cards in sequential order, learning foundational skills that build on one another. Students use emergent reading skills while also having audio access. Students also have access to a "help" screen on every slide. Having a solid base regarding prime numbers assists in the process of learning about fractions. This deck includes: - What is Prime Factorization? - Identifying prime numbers - Shortcut method for prime numbers to build a chart for under 100 - Order of elimination - A game helping to quickly identify a prime number versus a composite. There are 45 task cards in this deck. It is designed to be a quick and fun practice tool! These questions work great for whole group instruction, centers, individual review, distance learning, or paired partners. They would be perfect to assign after you have taught students prime number basics (as this deck is a teaching deck and will go over all concepts step by step).
