Description: CCSS RF K.3b, RF 1.2a, RF1.2c, RF.1.3c, RF. 2.3 This Boom deck will give your Kindergarten, first grade, and/or second grade students practice reading simple sentences. These task cards are a great way to review decoding CVCe words (long a, i, o, u). These sentences have the simple frame of "I see a _____" and then a CVCe word completes the sentence. For example, I see a vase. There are three answer choices given. After students read the sentence, they choose the correct word identified in the sentence. Students practice reading a simple, repetitive sentence and decoding CVCe words. There are 20 task cards and audio directions. The words include cape, game, cage, cave, vase, bike, mice, vine, hive, lime, note, rope, hose, home, cone, cube, tube, dune, fuse, and mule. 5 task cards per long vowel (a, i, o, u).
