Description: You'll love this auditory discrimination deck for the /k/ vs. /g/ sounds! Created to help adult ESL students improve their pronunciation, this deck gives them tons of auditory discrimination practice for initial, medial, and final /k/ vs. /g/ sounds. To reproduce /k/ and /g/ correctly, one first has to be able to hear the difference, and this deck helps students do that. For each card, students will hear a word pair. They must identify whether they've heard the SAME word twice or two DIFFERENT ones. For extra support, they can also click on the sound icons in the bottom left-hand corner to hear just the /k/ and /g/ sounds in isolation. I also have available a deck like this one but with the initial K/G sounds as well as a large deck with initial/medial/final sounds for K/G auditory discrimination practice. As with all my decks, I made this one with adult students in mind. It will not appeal to young learners. I based this deck on a worksheet in my K G pronunciation resource available in my TpT store. Teaching adult ESL students? You've hit the jackpot! My entire store is devoted to adult ESL resources. Be sure to check out the bundles to save money. Contact me if you want/need a custom bundle.
