Description: Looking for some Valentine’s Day fun?? This speech sound articulation game for /r/ is a great way to celebrate the holiday and practice your target sound. Pictures with your target sound are shown and are then covered up by a Valentine. When the Valentine is removed, one of the pictures disappears! Can you figure out which picture is missing?? When using this with my students, I like to have my students name every picture. This helps them practice their sound and to help them memorize which pictures are there. It’s a memory game with a twist! With 52 cards, you can get multiple repetitions! The /r/ sound is separated into 4 different groups: initial position of words, medial position of words, final position of words and /r/ blends. You can easily target /r/ at your students’ level.
