Subjects: speech,articulation

Grades: 13,1,2,3,4

Description: This back to school speech therapy deck covers /f/ articulation in the initial, medial, and final positions of words. There are 9 words per sound position. Students will construct a school by clicking/dragging building elements on each page (e.g., building base, roof, clock/bell tower, windows, doors, stairs, trees, and people). As students manipulate the school elements, they will practice their /f/ sound by labeling the target images depicted on each slide. Once the school is completed, use the map to navigate the school. There are 9 scenes designated for articulation activities (3 for initial, 3 for medial, 3 for final). These can be found on page 1 of the map. In each of these scenes, students will search for hidden target articulation (/f/) images that will be dragged to a specific location on the slide. There are 3 scenes designated for open ended play. These can be found on page 2 of the map. Drag each of the items in the left column into the background to create a scene. The school rooms included are: nurse's office, principal's office, classroom, gym, cafeteria, music room, art room, library, tech room, bus stop, playground, and auditorium.
