Description: Educate your students about the importance of taking care of our planet while reviewing math at the same time with this Boom Cards deck. This 2nd-grade deck contains math topics including addition and subtraction within 100, place value, and counting coins and U.S. dollar bills (word problem). This math escape room is Common Core aligned. Background: Land pollution is a huge problem. And because of that, Earth Monsters want to invade our planet! Stop them and save the Earth by answering different math challenges. Students will learn about natural disasters such as flood, drought, and air pollution. They will also read short passages about their effect on the Earth and ways to stop and/or prevent these from happening. Activities include: 1.
