Description: This resource is meant to be paired with the aborable story "Bug Hunt" by Tom Story and illustrated by Ashlee Spink. I have removed the read aloud link due to copywrite laws but there is an adroable version of this on YouTube (see channel in acknowledgements) After reading the story choose which activity you'd like to do and select it from the Table of Contents page. There 4 activities included: 1. 10 Story Comprehension Wh questions (field of 4 responses) 2. 10 Yes/No Questions 3. 5 Bug Hunt-Expanding Word Utterances cards- There are 5 bugs hiding under colorful items. Label the color(ed) (item) then move it to look "under" or "behind". it Label the bug then use the sentence starter "I found" and drag it into the jar! All bugs are animated gifs 4. Describing Bugs: Slide the net over to reveal which bug was caught. Use the sentence starter "I see" to label it. Then describe the bug by using the sentence starters and the descriptors words and colors.
