Description: This Boom Learning deck targets the learner's ability to budget money. Budgeting is an important money management skill as it teaches children how to determine whether they could buy an item that they want given the money they have. This is a simulation game wherein the learner will buy different items from a garage sale. There are five stations per card: A. Look at the given coin or bill. This will be the available money that you can use to purchase the given item. B. Look at the given picture and its price. This will be the item that you will be purchasing. C. Compare your money and the item price. Type your money and the item price in the designated text boxes, then select >, = or < to compare both values. D. Use the conditional statements as guide to know if your money is enough to buy the given item. If your answer in C is > or =, then you can buy the item. Else, if your answer is <, then you cannot buy the item. E. Select the check mark if your money is enough to buy the item. Else, select the cross mark. The following money values that are included in this deck are as follows: Coins: - 1¢ - 5¢ - 10¢ - 25¢ - 50¢ Bills: - $1 - $2 - $5 - $10 - $20 - $50 - $100 Enjoy learning! :)
