Description: This interactive no-prep activity is an engaging way to help your students build a variety of receptive and expressive language skills. Students are given a variety of community helpers and community buildings. Students are able to answer WHERE questions and build vocabulary (e.g. community buildings). This interactive activity is extremely motivating and engaging! This activity contains the following: - 16 different community helpers (e.g, doctor, dentist, police officer, plumber, teacher, librarian, fire fighter, painter, astronaut, veterinarian, baker, detective, gardener, farmer, mailman, construction worker) - 16 different community building (e.g. hospital, police station, dentist, bank, school, library, fire station, airport, church, grocery store, bakery, vet, farm, post office, flower shop, hotel) Some IEP goals that can be targeted during this activity: - Where Questions - Vocabulary (community helpers & town buildings) - Other WH Question ideas (e.g. why do you go to the hospital, who helps you at school, what do you buy from a grocery store, where do you go if you want baked goods, etc.) - Inferences (e.g. if you don't feel well, where do you go)
