Description: These cards support the Words Their Way Spelling Program sorts. This deck supports the Yellow Book, Word Sorts for Within Word Pattern Spellers 3rd Edition. It covers building the word in sounds, identifying the correct spelling, and spelling the words. This deck covers ONLY the short A sound (CVC) the long A sounds are in another deck. The two decks have also been bundled together in my store. Cards include fill in the blank and drag and drop. Students practice spelling the word and breaking it down with the word written on the screen as well as spelling the word from a picture and by choosing the correct spelling with multiple choice. All instructions include the option of an audio button to read it to the student. I've created this deck to help support my lower spelling group who just don't seem to be getting the rule and who spend far too much time cutting and sorting the words.
